              I Made this piece using a photo I found on Pinterest of Carmen Dell'Orefice. 

I wanted to make something for my friend for Christmas. 

Hopefully she likes it. I used Acrylics, chalks and rubber stamps from Penny Black.

Hello!
Here is one of the journal pages I made for my swap partner. I used four Penny Black stamps. Also alot of paint, colored pencils, chalk, some crackle and Mica fragments. I am not great at thinking up things to write so I used a rubber stamp sentiment. I am not sure it really goes with the page. I hope she likes it anyways!

I thought I would post some pics of my first finished journal page. I joined a journal swap group. I love being able to share art with other artists. 

I used water colors, chalks, tattered angels, Penny Black rubber stamps, photos, clip art, glitter and rhinestones. Probably other stuff I can't remember!

Penny Black Pinterest COLOR Challenge

Hello!

I made this card for the Pinterest color challenge on the Penny Black blog.  

I stamped the flowers with versafine black and embossed with clear EP. I stamped the leaves with the cement versacolor. On a separate piece of paper I stamped the flowers and butterfly again then embossed and watercolored. I cut them out, curled the petals and wing around my finger then added them to the first stamped image. I then wrapped silver thread around the bottom. 

On the background I stamped the wood grain with versamark. I used a silver Krylon pen to make the splatters on the background. Assemble the card then add glitter and glossy accents to the centers of the flowers. Then add rhinestones to the thread. 

The silver wire pieces are ornament hangers I bought at the dollar tree.

NEW Mixed Media PAINTING

I was looking at Terra Sheridan's blog yesterday to see her new painting and decided to get out my paints. Her work is so inspiring to me. She does alot of mixed media in her work.

For this painting I used some Penny Black embossed papers for texture underneath and also the photo above. I used golden acrylic paints. She looks a little like a vampire to me and her hair is really big but it was still fun.

Yard Sale Finds

Well I would say today was a pretty successful sale day. I got everything in the pictures for under $75! My favorite is the wash stand.

Just a light cleaning and they will be ready for the shop. I may have to hit one of them again tomorrow.

ATC Break

Hi!

I took a little break today and made this ATC. I used colored pencils on cardstock. I was trying to draw Gladys Cooper but it came out alot more cartoony. I think it turned out alright though. I love coloring with pencils so it was fun.
