Well this is my first try palette painting. The face was hard to paint being small. 

The painting is on a 16 x 20 canvas board. I may try a larger face next time!

New 20 Minute painting and Video

It is on an 8 x 10 canvas board. I painted it using golden acrylics. I am really enjoying just painting without over thinking too much! Thanks for stopping by:)

Rock Painting

Hello!

I went to my Mom's house this weekend and we painted rocks for her garden. I made four but I am only sharing three with you! That would be the first picture. The second pic is of the one my Mom made. It came out pretty nice! The third pic is of the ELEVEN rocks that my six year old painted before I finished my second rock. 

As you can see, clearly there is a hot dog and a frozen Han Solo in the mix. I think poor little frozen Han is my favorite. Now it will be Grandpa's favorite pet rock in his office!

It was a fun weekend at Grandma's house!

20 Minute Painting and then some...

Hello!

I started another 20 minute painting but couldn't leave it alone. I painted what you see in the last picture yesterday. That was 20 minutes. Today I decided to finish it! There was something I liked and had to finish. I am glad I did. I used the old photo for inspiration. I think it helped alot to have something to go by rather than just pulling something random out of my head!

ATC Photo Challenge

I made this ATC for the Creative Souls ATC swap group that I host each month.  

The theme was to use the photo to the left in some way. I printed the photo out in black and white so I could change the colors. I used an antique German bible page for the background and a paper butterfly from a wreath I had.
