ReplyDeleteI love that you are teaching next year in Lets face it 2018!! congratulations!! hard to pick my favorite artist of the past but I am drawn to Claude Monet, bright and fun colors.... Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteNow this is the class that I would love to take. At 44 years old I discovered I have some ability to draw and paint and now at 46 I am ready to drop the fear that I'm not talented enough and to really learn more. My favorite artist is Degas and I am in love with impressionistic style of painting. Thank you for this opportunity.
ReplyDeleteHi Angela - thanks for the opportunity to win a spot in FB 2018. I have really enjoyed the past 2 years of FB and would love to win a spot in 2018. I don't have any real favourite artist of all time. I just know when I am drawn to a piece of art because it touches me or moves something in me. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting, I would have to learn from so many awesome teachers! I know it's cliche but I'm going to say Van Gogh. It's so hard to pick a favorite.
ReplyDeleteThis will be fun. I love Kara, and I love you! My favorite artist right now is Alphonse Mucha. I love those round women and I'd love to know how he did those precise background circles.
ReplyDeleteAs you know You and Kara are two of my favorite artists..... but back in the earlier times my favorite artist is Gustav Klimt because of his use of texture and color in his work. Thanks for the opportunity to win a spot with you guys!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Angela, had to delete my earlier comment as I forgot about the favourite artist bit - duh! Mine is Monet as I love his free style.
ReplyDeleteI'd also love to do the face creation course as my skills are a bit rusty and sadly in need of some inspiration to kick start my painting and drawing after a long break due to my stressful job which I'm soon leaving.
Thanks so much for this chance too.
Fliss x
So many artists...I love them all..but to pick one I would pick Edward Hopper. Thanks so much for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite artist is Henri Rousseau.
ReplyDeleteHi Angela, I am so excited about LFI2018!!! One of my favorite artists is Klimt. Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteFantastic news about your involvement, even more exciting that you are giving away a free spot! Although I do not have a specific favourite artist, I love the Dutch masters. The most impressive exhibit I have experienced is Panorama Mesdag, a 360 degree painting that is observed by standing in the center of it, complete with sand and sound. Amazing!

ReplyDeletePick just one favorite artist?!? There are so many that I like for different reasons: Alexander Calder is definitely a favorite because his kinetic sculptures are so fabulous; Paul Klee's work is whimsical and intriguing; Georgia O'Keeffe was an amazing painter; Louise Nevelson's sculptures are fabulous; Marina Abramović's work always moves me; Edward S. Curtis was a visionary, capturing so many of the indigenous people of America before so many of their cultures were lost. Currently, I am intrigued by the work of Jaune Quick-to-See Smith. Thank you for the opportunity to win a spot!! ( :
ReplyDeleteDear Angela,
